Quality control / Agreed before production

Quality is checked
before steel ships.

RUNSU coordinates material confirmation, dimensional checking, visual inspection, document review and packing checks against the agreed order. The scope is set by the product, specification and buyer requirement — not by a generic checklist.

01 / Scope

Six checks that
support a release decision.

The checks below describe the available coordination scope. The final inspection plan is confirmed against the order, the standard and the consequences of a missed characteristic.

01

Material confirmation

Grade, standard, specification and order requirements are compared before supply or processing is arranged.

02

Dimensional inspection

Key dimensions are checked according to product type: outer diameter, wall thickness, bar diameter, length, machining size and other agreed characteristics.

03

Visual inspection

Surface condition, obvious defects, rust condition, deformation, damage and packing condition are reviewed before shipment.

04

Document checking

Available material certificates, packing list, commercial invoice and other shipment documents are checked against the order requirements.

05

Packing inspection

Packing method, marks, bundles, protection and loading preparation are reviewed for the product size and transport method.

06

Shipment review

The agreed checks and records are brought together before dispatch so open points are visible while they can still be resolved.

02 / Documents

What the paperwork
is expected to show.

Documents are checked against the agreed order. This page describes the role of each document; it does not certify the content of any future certificate or promise a fixed document set for every shipment.

Document coordination framework. Required documents and their content are confirmed per order.

No stock size range is implied by this page. Availability, tolerances and documentation are confirmed against the actual inquiry and agreed order.

03 / Release sequence

A release is a sequence,
not a single signature.

For a shipment to be ready, the material, dimensions, documents and packing have to agree at the same time. The sequence below shows where each check sits.

01

Requirement fixed

Grade, dimensions, quantity, processing, inspection and documents are written into the order.

02

Material confirmed

The supplied material and its references are compared with the ordered requirement.

03

Product checked

Dimensional and visual checks are completed within the agreed scope.

04

Documents reviewed

Available certificates, lists and invoices are checked for consistency with the order.

05

Packing verified

Marks, protection, bundles and loading preparation are checked before dispatch.

04 / Special requirements

If the order needs more,
say so before the quote.

Special inspection, additional testing, a particular certificate, a hold point or third-party attendance changes the inspection plan. These requirements should be stated in the inquiry and confirmed before production.

Different products, grades, standards and processing methods need different arrangements. RUNSU does not assume that an extra test or witness point is included because it is common elsewhere.

Procurement FAQ

Quality questions

These answers separate what can be coordinated from what must be confirmed for a specific order.

Does every order include a material certificate?

Certificate requirements are order-specific. State the certificate type, issuer, standard and tests required. The document set that can be provided is confirmed in the quotation rather than assumed from this page.

Can RUNSU inspect key dimensions?

Dimensional checks can be scoped around the key characteristics agreed for the product. State the dimensions, tolerance, measurement method, sampling and record format so the inspection can be planned.

Can I appoint a third-party inspector?

Third-party inspection can be discussed when it is stated before quotation. Access, timing, hold points and document requirements are confirmed for the specific order.

What happens if a check does not pass?

The finding is raised against the agreed requirement. Disposition depends on the order, the specification and the buyer's decision; release is not assumed while the point remains open.

Are pre-shipment photos available?

Pre-shipment photos can be arranged within the agreed scope. Confirm what should be shown — product, dimensions, marks or packing — and when the record is needed.

How are documents delivered?

The delivery method for certificates and shipment documents is confirmed with the order. Original, copy or legalisation requirements should be stated in the inquiry.
