Quality control / Agreed before production
Quality is checked
before steel ships.
RUNSU coordinates material confirmation, dimensional checking, visual inspection, document review and packing checks against the agreed order. The scope is set by the product, specification and buyer requirement — not by a generic checklist.
01 / Scope
Six checks that
support a release decision.
The checks below describe the available coordination scope. The final inspection plan is confirmed against the order, the standard and the consequences of a missed characteristic.
Material confirmation
Grade, standard, specification and order requirements are compared before supply or processing is arranged.
Dimensional inspection
Key dimensions are checked according to product type: outer diameter, wall thickness, bar diameter, length, machining size and other agreed characteristics.
Visual inspection
Surface condition, obvious defects, rust condition, deformation, damage and packing condition are reviewed before shipment.
Document checking
Available material certificates, packing list, commercial invoice and other shipment documents are checked against the order requirements.
Packing inspection
Packing method, marks, bundles, protection and loading preparation are reviewed for the product size and transport method.
Shipment review
The agreed checks and records are brought together before dispatch so open points are visible while they can still be resolved.
02 / Documents
What the paperwork
is expected to show.
Documents are checked against the agreed order. This page describes the role of each document; it does not certify the content of any future certificate or promise a fixed document set for every shipment.
| Document | What it supports | Confirm in the inquiry |
|---|---|---|
| Material certificate | Grade and material traceability as provided for the order | Certificate type, issuer, standard and test requirements |
| Packing list | Item, quantity, package and weight reference | Format, marks and package breakdown |
| Commercial invoice | Commercial shipment record | Invoice details and delivery terms |
| Pre-shipment photos | Visual record of product and packing condition | Photo subjects, labels and timing |
| Size confirmation | Key dimensions against the agreed requirement | Characteristics, method and record format |
| Loading photos | Container or loading condition where available | Whether a loading record is required |
| Other export documents | Destination or project-specific needs | Document list, language and any legalisation requirement |
No stock size range is implied by this page. Availability, tolerances and documentation are confirmed against the actual inquiry and agreed order.
03 / Release sequence
A release is a sequence,
not a single signature.
For a shipment to be ready, the material, dimensions, documents and packing have to agree at the same time. The sequence below shows where each check sits.
Requirement fixed
Grade, dimensions, quantity, processing, inspection and documents are written into the order.
Material confirmed
The supplied material and its references are compared with the ordered requirement.
Product checked
Dimensional and visual checks are completed within the agreed scope.
Documents reviewed
Available certificates, lists and invoices are checked for consistency with the order.
Packing verified
Marks, protection, bundles and loading preparation are checked before dispatch.
04 / Special requirements
If the order needs more,
say so before the quote.
Special inspection, additional testing, a particular certificate, a hold point or third-party attendance changes the inspection plan. These requirements should be stated in the inquiry and confirmed before production.
Different products, grades, standards and processing methods need different arrangements. RUNSU does not assume that an extra test or witness point is included because it is common elsewhere.

These answers separate what can be coordinated from what must be confirmed for a specific order.
Does every order include a material certificate?
Can RUNSU inspect key dimensions?
Can I appoint a third-party inspector?
What happens if a check does not pass?
Are pre-shipment photos available?
How are documents delivered?
Write the inspection plan
into the inquiry.
Send the product, grade or standard, size, quantity, drawing, required certificate and inspection points, packing requirement and destination.
